Verruca treatments at SS Podiatry involve debridement, which removes excess skin formed by infected viral cells, and the application of a potent solution to the affected area - far stronger than over-the-counter options from pharmacies or stores. This approach leads to a higher success rate in clearing verrucas. Our preferred method is Verrutop, a nitrizine complex, selected because it causes less macerated tissue (the white, peeling skin often seen with salicylic acid-based off-the-shelf products).
